The blue AUTOZUG Sylt operates between the loading terminals in Niebüll (Nordfriesland district) and Westerland on Sylt.

Please enter the address given below into your vehicle's navigation system. Or follow the traffic signs with the black-and-white car train symbol.

On the terminal site there are two providers for the car train transport to Sylt. You can find our blue AUTOZUG Sylt...

  • in Niebüll at the terminal access on the right: Lanes 9-11
  • in Westerland at the terminal access on the left: Lanes 1+2. 

Our friendly service team will welcome you at the waiting lanes and check you in quickly and conveniently in person from your vehicle.

Important note for arrival days with heavy traffic (holiday weekends, public holidays, major events):
Please do not follow any possible alternative-route suggestions that your in-car navigation device or Google Maps may recommend in the Niebüll area for the journey to the terminal, for your own benefit! BECAUSE: On such peak arrival days, the town of Niebüll temporarily sets up road closures, barriers or one-way streets around the terminal access road to manage traffic – these are not recognised by navigation apps! To prevent you from having to join the end of the queue again when using supposed alternative routes, we strongly recommend that you follow only the road signs for car-train loading in and around Niebüll. This is the fastest way to reach the terminal access road.

Eight tips for the loading terminal

How to do it right

  1. When you arrive at the terminal entrance, drive slowly onto the site to get your bearings.
  2. At the terminal entrance, queue directly for the blue AUTOZUG Sylt: in Niebüll lanes 9-11 (directly on the right). In Westerland lanes 1+2 (directly on the left). 
  3. If you have purchased an online ticket with reservation in advance, please have the ticket printout or your mobile device with the QR code ready at check-in.
  4. If you do not yet have a ticket, you can buy one conveniently from your vehicle from our friendly sales team at check-in, paying in cash or by debit/credit card.
  5. If you have our free regular customer card or business customer card, please present it at check-in.
  6. After check-in in lane 9-11 (Niebüll) or lanes 1+2 (Sylt), proceed towards the train on instruction from our team. 
  7. You are welcome to use all service facilities (e.g. WC, kiosk, dog exercise area). 
  8. Walking pace applies throughout the terminal site. During waiting times, please still always watch out for vehicle traffic if you or your fellow passengers leave the vehicle.
