Webcams

We have mounted several webcams for you on the loading terminals in Niebüll and in Westerland/Sylt. This allows you to see in real time how high the level of traffic currently is.

Helpful tips when traffic levels are high:

• We always transport you on the train for which you checked in with us. We do not have any hidden waiting times for subsequent trains while you are waiting to be loaded in the vehicle lanes.
• With us, you can reserve a fixed place on your desired train online in advance. We will keep your reserved place free until 15 minutes before loading closes – even if vehicles without a reservation arrive at the terminal before you.
• If, on busy arrival and departure days, there are longer traffic jams on the access roads before the terminal area and you therefore do not reach your reserved train on time, your Online-Flexprice ticket is also valid on any of our other trains.
• If you have chosen the particularly low-cost Online-Saver-Price ticket with a fixed train commitment from 19.90 euros, you can also remain relaxed if there is a longer traffic jam before the terminal area – in this exceptional case, the train commitment is lifted.
